EVENTS WORTH NOTING.
A meeting of the College street School Committee will be held this evening at 7.30. Sale of woi's: on Wednesday and Thursday next in. Broad street Methodist schoolroom. G. H. Bennett and Co. have opened up a large stock of cards, fancy calendars, new booke, toys of every description, leather goods, and other goods too numerous to mention, all of which haVe been imported specially for the Christmas and New Year trade. Full particulars are given in an extended advt. on the leader page. An organ recital will be given by Mr C. W. Naylor at St. Andrew's Church on Thursday evening, December 9. Antheme are to be contributed by the choir, and Mr M. Cohen, (violin) will also assist. Admission is free.
