Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 2. The R'""\ John Law, supernumerary Methodi -> minister of Mount Albert, Auckland, died on Saturday night, after ailing for some months. Deceased came to New Zealand in 1868 and had charge of circuits in various parts of the colony. He was in his 68th year and is survived bv his widow and four sons. WELLINGTON, August .2. William Hannah, aged 73, messenger at tho Parliament' Buildings, was walking in his sleep at his lodgings last night and fell from his upstairs window. Ho was discovered by fellow boarders, a doctor summoned and Hannah was taken to the hospital, but it is understood his injuries are not very serious.
