Per Press Association CHIUSTCH UKCH, This Day. At the University Senate the interim report of the Law Committee made the following recommendations: —That the Statute degree of Hachelor of Laivs be repealed. and tlie following enacted : —Candidate l ; for the degree of 13.L. shall pass an examination in tlie following subjects : First Division, Latin (la nguage and literature), English (language and literature), or menial science, jurisprudence, constitutional history. Roman law, international law, and the conflict of laws. Second Division : Law of contracts, law of property (Parts I. and II.). law of torts, criminal law, law of evidence, ami law of procedure. The discussion is proceeding.
