The Gas Company.
— A Standard representative visited the new s-how rooms and offices acquired by the Gas Company, next Victoria House, this morning, and was surprised at the commodious nature and up-to-date appearance of the premises which serve to display to the very best advantage the stock placed on view. The latter comprises a recent shipment of all the latest designs in gas fittings, stoves, globes, etc., all imported direct from the Home manufacturers. A special display of these will be held to-niglit. Gas consumers and those doing ordinary business with the company will appreciate the facilities offered by having the ofllce in such a central position, at the same time shows that the Square as a business centre is just as well appreciated by firms as customers. The public are invited to inspect the new .stock to-night.
