(Received-August 23, at 8.52 a.m.) LONDON, August 22. The sun was shining when the game -was resumed, but the wicket was soft. With the. exception of Spooner, Garnett and Hallows the County team failed to make any stand, and the whole side were out for 114. Following on shortly after 4 o'clock the team did much better, and have lost one wicket for 45. Lancashire made 132, and the Australians therefore won by an innings and 67 runs. '
