The Obnoxious Shops Act

WELLINGTON, Thia a»y. The Full Court to-day gave judgment in the appeal against a decision of the magistrate in the shops test case Inspector of Factories v. Tanner, a shopkeeper. In this case tho magistrate held that there was no " combined district of Wellington," constituted and dismissed the information although the fact of keeping open was admitted. This decision was now appealed against and the Full Court unanimously upheld the appeal. No costs were allowed. The case was referred back to the magistrate to deal with in accordance with the Full Court's decision.
