Increased Prize Money.

SYDNEY, This day,
The Jockey Club has decided to increase the prize money for the Derby to 1500 soys., and, also, to increase the weight-for-age races at the spring and autumn meetings by £150 each. Several other events have been increased by iIOO.

DANNEVIRKE, This 'day.
As the last meeting of the Dannevirke Racing Club was particularly successful, the committee are now considering an offer of the freehold of 100 acres near town for a permanent course.
