The newspaper Berliner Tagelblatt says the Baltic fleet; coals at Madeira. The battleships and large cruisers pass the Cape while the smaller ships go through the Suez, re-assembling in the Sunda Archipelago, thence proceeding to Vladivostock.
The newspaper Novoe Vremya urges the Russian acquisition of a Dutch island in the Sunda or the Molucca Archipelagoes, or even a port where to construct dock. building yards and a coaling station. It says that under the present circumstances the Baltic fleet are embarking pn an enterprise which is as perilous as 'those of Columbus or Vaaco de Gama.
