THE OPERA HOUSE.

Since the question of the Opera House was last before the Council the engineer, Mr Jickell, following out instructions giwen to him on that occasion, has been busily engaged preparing details and plans of a building that will, probably, conform to the ideas of the Council and the requirements of the town. These details have been embodied by Mr Jickell in a report which, together with plans of the proposed Opera House, will be submitted to the Council to-night. We understand the saggesced structure will, without being in the. least degree ornate, amply fulfill requirements as to cost and seating capacity.
