With reference to the unfortunate accident to Mr. B. Millton at Hastings on Monday, tho Hawke's Bay Herald gives a similar account to that publishad by us. A private mossago received at Palmerston yesterday alt6rnoon, however, stated that tho patient was atill unconscious, which would indicate that his condition was moro serious than the published account would lead one to suppose.
Tbe musical comedy " Florodora" was played as a final porformujee by tbe Pollard Opera Co. last ovening. A good audience attended, and the staging of this popular piece appoared to give the greatest satisfaction. Applause throughout was frequent, and at its conclusion cheers were given for the company.'
