An eight-roomed building in Chaucer road, in course ol enlargement, was destroyed by lire early this morning. A strong westerly wind was blowing at the time and the Royal hotel had a narrow escape. The carpenters employed on the building lost all (heir tools and the house, which was owned by the Robjohn's estate, was insured for £150 in th- Norwich UHion.
