Wirth's Circus.
To-Night,
It is almost superfluous to remind our readers that Wirth Bros.' circus will open their Palmers'on Eea.on this evening on the flat in Broad-street. The company will arrive during, tho day, and are assurad a hearty welcome. The great attraction of the show will, of course, be tho Howard Bros., concerning whose per'ormanco a contemporary says:—" The exhibition of these brothers provides food for imich thought, and the audienoo dispersed completely at a loss to understand wherein lay their wonderful powers. The modus operandi of the pair is simple. Mr James Howard is seated blindfolded on a chair in the centre of tho ring, and his brother moves among the audience, pausing here and there to receive and ingpeot some proffered article, and without any apparent confederacy or receipt of communication by word or otherwise, the brother .rated in tbe arena describes each artida minutely and without the slightest hesitation. "Articles of every description were tendered at last night's performance, and their ownership was given" as well as their description. A bank-note endorsement was described in detail, number apd signatories being given, a watch -escribed by its number, hands, design, and maker's name, a hat by its colour, maker's name, and place of business, price, size, and period of ownership heing also faithfully given with rapidity. Strangers were astonished by hearing their identity disclosed, and more so by their addresses being given at their request. Defects and poouliaritios in articles were faithfully told, and questions put by individuals answered to their satisfaction. The performance proved fascinating in tho extreme,
