The following aro tho general details and conditions of entry in connection with the dairy farm competition to be hold under the auspices of the Manawatu A. uud P. Association :—

No. 1. —Conditions of entry, minimum 20 cows in mijk j (a) Northern boundary, Turokina riyer to Otaki river, West Coist, southern boundary, Eketnhuua to Norsowood, East Coast ; (b) competitor must be a regular milk supplier to any of tho registered factories or creameries within the above boundaries, provided they are subcribers to this scheme, the amount to bo named.

lighting ;5, water supply ;0, drainago; 7, cleanliness of milkers ; 'b) Cooling Shed, 50 points, 1. general suitability; 2 location; 3, cleanliness (c) Yards, 50 points, 1, cleanliness; 2, handiiiess; 3, drainage, (il) General Surrouudiugs of Premises, 50 points, (oi Milk Utensils, 50, points, delivery cart, cleanliness, condition, adaptability.

(f.)Hord, 100 points, Health and general condition!.', condition of udder, ago of cows ; (g) Service bulls, 25 poinis ; (h) Milk, 50 points, Quantity, quality. Total (maximum) points, 609.

No. B—Judges to not conjointly: (a)," Government veterinary surgeons; (b), Government dairy export; (c), practical dairy farmer, solcptedby this Committee.

The contributors to tho prize fund aro Messrs J. E. Nathan & Co. £30, W. W. Corpe £5, New Zealand Farmers' Dairy Union £20. Cheltenham Pairy Company £5, Glen Qroua Dairy Company £5, A. & P. Association £40; total, £105, Entry fee, £1; all entries to be made by September Bith. Competitors will have to give general particulars as to tho locality of their farms, nearest railway station, creamery or factory being supplied, number of cows on tho farm, in milk and to etijvo during September and October. Prizes awarded will be £25, .20, £15, £10' and £5.
