CHARGE OF BRIBING A WITNESS

CiiJUSTCJiciicir, January 0. George Mumford, lato skipper of the Ariadne, was charged at tho Police Court this morning wich attempting to dissuado a Crown witness (Annij Downing) from giving cyiden.ee,-by moans of a bribe, He was remanded till to-morrow.
The Ariadne trial was further adr joijrncd from the 13th of January lo the '20th January.
