THE TOMOANA'S DAMAGE.

Napeee, July 29. The Tomoana arrived in the bay at 10 o'clock and a diver proceeded out for the purpose of making an examination as to the extent of the damage caused by the ship bumping on the bottom at Gisborne. The weather, however, was too rough to permit of the diver descending, and after discharging cargo the Tomoana will proceed on to' Wellington at 4 p.m. The damage is not serious.
