Two rebels at Kenhardt have been executed ; also two at Middelburg. Thirteen Dordrecht rebels have been sentenced to penal servitude for life, and two to; five years' and ten years' imprisonment respectively.

London, July 25. Colonel Scobell's force capturned ten Boers on Sunday. Major MeGillivray, of South Australia, has been killed at Vaukollenfontein.

The Premier has received the following cable from Capetown:—"Please inform Thomas ' McMillan, Tokomairiro, Taieri," that his son, Arthur McMillan, South African Light Horse, died of scarlet fever at Philipolis on 28th June. Other calualties are:-—Reindique, 18th July, 7th Regiment, slightly wounded 4192 Walter Miller, and 4435 William Rutherford."
