(Press Association.) Wellington. May 17. The Hon. Messrs Rigg and Jenkinson, whose term in the Legislative Council expires next month, have been re-ap-pointed. The police have received a report from the Constable at Hawera, stating that the man identified as Williams by Weir, was dressed according to the description of the missing man, and was carrying a small swag which looked like a rug, and seemed strange in his manner, arrived at Hawera on May 2nd, and returned from the north on May 4th, going on south the same day. ■ The Hon. J. Carroll, who has spent the last three weeks enquiring into sanitation amongst the natives, will intro'dace a bill dealing with the question.
