STOCK MARKET,

Messrs Gorton and Son report :— Last week we held sales at Bulls on Tuesday, and Jeilding on Friday last. Notwithstanding the exceedingly cold weather at Bulls the attendance was larger than usual, and the sale a Jeal better, in fact since the temporary bridge has been opened the sales in these yards have improved considerably. All classes of sheep sold well, especially forward ewes, suitable for turnips.

At Feilding we have to report a most successful sale. The attendance was unusually large for awintersale, buyers were present from all parts of the coast from Shannon to Hawera. ' Bidding for a'l classes of both sheep and cattle was keen throughout, and all but three pens ot sheep and a few odd head of cattle sold under the hammer. We quote :— i
