Pohangina County Requirements.

Advantage was taken by the County Council of the Commissioner of Crown Lands' (Mr MarchantJ presence at Pohangina on Saturday to bring.the following matters before his notice, namely, Arbon's road, a portion of which had been abandoned in order to maEe a deviation, Mr Arbon being now depirous of purchasing the adjoining reserve; in reply to this the Commissioner said the Land Board would have the necessary survey made, and that the road up the __-- hill, which it was intended to abandon, would have to be closed by the Council.
