Native Laad Court.

The Native, Land Court, under Judge L. O'Brion and Assessor To Waru, opened at Otaki punctually at noon on Friday, Mr B. Booth acted as iutrepreter. The Court re-opened again on Monday, at 10 a.m. The following is an epitome of the work gazetted to be heard : — One hundred and seventeen new claims, inclusive of ton adjourned from the last sitting of the Court m 1888 ; one hundred and eighty-four applications to succeed parties deceased ; two applications to be appointed Trustees to certain minors, m Himatangi No. 2 and Te Eairanga Blocks ; one hundred and twelve applications for subdivision. In addition to these latter, the subdivisions of Manawatu-Kukutauaki No. 7 G and Opaekete, made and surveyed by one hapu, will be objected to by another hapu. — Foxton paper.
