DIED,
At Tapuae, Taranaki, on the 24th November, Hura Te Rangikanoho, an old chief of Ngamotu, of the tribe of Te Wharepouri, aged probably about 80 years. His last words were: Farewell, my children! Let your thoughts be good, just, and clear. He was interred on the 50th ; 309 persons attended the funeral.
