The total rainfall recorded at Eweburn Nursery, Ranfurly, for the month of March was 155 points on 11 days. The maximum temperature was 77 degrees on the 9th and the minimum 29 degrees on the 7th. Frost occurred on three nights in the screen and on the ground on ten nights.
The rainfall at Kyeburn for the month of March amounted to 1.98 in., falling on ten days, the maximum fall being 51 points on the 9th. , At Naseby 2.03 in. fell on 12 days, the maximum being .49in. on the 4th.
