LAND SALES.

Wright, Stephenson ai?d Co, Ltd., report having recently effected the following sales of station and farm properties in Otago and Southland :

On account of Mr Samuel Henry, Brans Flat, his well known " Bellamy" station near Lawrence, comprising about 3000 acres of freehold and 28,000 acres of leasehold, to Mr John Mundell, Timaru, who also pur chased all the stock on the station comprising 10,000 sheep, horses, cattle and station plant, On account of Mr W M Hailes, Balfour, his Ardlussa and Cattle Flat properties com prising 11,240 acres freehold and 6000 acres leasehold, nleo 5000 sheep and horses, cattle, &o, depasturing thereon, to Messrs Donald M'Donald, Idendale, and T L Barn hill, Cast'erock. On account of Messrs J M and D A M'Kenzie, of Palmerston, their Bushey Park Estate, comprising 2260 aeresbf freehold and 86 acres of leasehold, being all first class agricultural and fattening land, with splen did hometcad and grounds. This is one of the finest estates in Otngo, and the buyer, Mr Roderick M'Kenzie, late of Birchwood Estate, Southland, is to be congratulated on acquiring such a splendid property. Mr M'Kenzie also took over at valuation about 4000 sheep, mostly breeding ewes with lambs. On account of Mr James Meehan, Makikihi. his Waimea Homestead Estate, comprising 4973 acres of first-class flat, clean agricultural land to Mr F. V'allis, Gore. On account of Mr F. Wallis, Gore, the Homestead block of the Waimea Estate, comprising 1040 acres, to Mr James Butler, Balfour. On account of Air John Wither, Dunedin, his fine freehold property known as Meadowhank Estate, situated near Palmerston and containing about 4318 acres, to the New Zealand Government for closer settlement. On account of Mr John Edie, Edievale, his splendid agricultural and pastoral property situated in the Crookston district, and containing 3500 acres freehold, to Mr William Palmer, Merino Downs On account of the Kxors. in the Estate of the late Mr Jas, M'Leati, Waikaia, his Riiutekum station in the Lake Wakitipu district containing 930 acres freehold and about 33,1)00 acres leasehold loectlicr with all the slock thereon, to Mr 1). A. M'Lean, Kinloch. On account of Mr Daniel Clarke of Waipani, his freehold farm of 1430 acres close to the Waipuhi railway station, to Mr A J Webb of Timaru, who also purchased 1800 crossbred sheep, 40 hea I of cattle, 30 horses, &c on the property.
