SKIN AND HIDE REL'ORT. Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd, report as follows : Sheepskins.—We submitted a fair sized catalogue at our sale beld on Tuesday the 3rd instant. Competition throughout the sale was fair but prices all round suffered about Id per lb decline. We quote : -Halfbreds, 7£d to 8d ; fine crossbred, 6Jd to 7£d ; crossbred, GJd to 6Jd ; merino, 7d to brcd dead, fid to 7d : merino dead, 6d to 7d ; crossbred, 4d to sd. Kabbitskins.—Sales arc now held fortnightly. We submitted a medium sized catalogue nt our sale held on Monday the 2nd instant. Competition was fair and prices realised were almost on a par with those of Inst sale, We quote -.—Winter does, to 21 £d ; winter bucks, to 16d ; outgoing winter does, to 14£ d ; outgoing winter bucks, to 13d ; spring bucks, to lid; spring does, to 9d ; outgoing winter blacks, to blocks, to 9d; fawns, 8d to 12d ; horsehair, good clean to 18£ d. Hiiles.—Sales arc held fortnightly. There was no sale held this week—the next sale takes place on the 12th instant. The follow ing quotations are based on actual sales made nt our Inst sale. The above are for good stout well flayed hides in good condition. Tallow and Fat There is n good demand. Best tallow, 22s to 24s ; mixed, 19s to 22s ; inferior, 16s to 18s; best rough fat, 17s to 19s; medium rough fat, 14a to 16s; inferior, 12s to 14b.
