SKIN AND HIDE REPOKT.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd, report as follows : Rabbitskins.—As sales are now held fortnightly, no sale took place this week. The next sale is on Monday, 2nd prox. Quotations may be taken at last week's rates, which are :—Winter does, to 19d ; winter bucks, to 15d ; outgoing winter does, to 14£ d ; outgoing winter bucks, to 13d : spring bucks, to lid ; spring does, to 9d ; outgoing winter blacks, to 12£ d ; spring blacks, to 9d ; fawns, 8d to 12d ; horsehair, good clean, to lS£d. Sheepskins.—We submitted a large catalogue at our sale held on Tuesday, 26tb inst. Competition throughout was fair and prices realised were about on a par with those at last sale. We quote-Full wooled skins—halfbred, BJd to 8d ; halfbred dead, 7£d to 7 7/8 d ; merino dead, 6£d to 7d ; cros-sbred dead, 5Jd 1o 6d. Half wooled skins—halfbred, 7£d to B£d ; fine crossbred, 6Ad to 7Ad ; crossbred, s£d to 64, d. Hides.—We held our übusl fortnightly sale of hides at our stores yesterday when we submitted a large catalogue consisting of some 473 hides. Competition was fair but prices for all descriptions were again easier. A decline of to id per lb waß noticeable in good conditioned well flayed hides, whilst badly flayed and damaged were lower by £d told. The latter class of hides aie not in request. We topped the market with 1 prime stout heavy ox hide weighing 70lbs which made 7d per lb.
