DUNEDIN WOOL SALES.
Sraos-Acn Bros, and Morris report having held their second wool sale of the season on Friday, 10th inst. The attendance of buyers was very satisfactory and competition generally speaking showed some improvement on lam quotations, this being especially marked in the case of merino and locks and pieces of all sorts. Dingy and inferior fleece was not so eagerly competed for but sold on a par with values at previous salt 9Jd -vas obtained for an extremely ligh parcel of crossbred off tussock The total offerings were slightly in excess of 10,000 bak-H, showing the growing importance <:{ loc.d sales. Fine cuss and halfbred, good to supeiior, B}d to 9£d ; do do, fair to medium, 6Vi to Sd ; coarße and bold, good to superior" 8d to 9d ; do do, fair to modium 6Jd to ?i<l ; light combed merino, 6Jd lo 7Jd : <lo do, superior, BJd : fair to medium do, 5J.1 to Bid; inferior do, 4Jd to 5Jd ; pieces, 3Jd to 7Jd ; locks, ljd to 3id.
