Mr and Mrs W. Hart, of Lower Hutt, are visitors to Foxton and are the guests of Mr axid Mrs W. E. Woodham, of Norbiton Road. Commissioner and Mrs Adams, Commanders of the Salvation Army, who will be visiting Foxton on 'Monday and conducting meetings locally, will be the guests of Mr and. Mrs R. N. Speirs, of Robinson Street. Rev. E. W. Burgin and Mr E. Field are ,at present in Wellington attending the y Anglican s Diocesan Synod, wlpeh was opened yesterday by the. Rt. Rev. ; H. St. Barbe Holland, Bishop of Wellington. Rev. Burgin was accompanied by Mrs Burgin. ? Advice , has been received by the Government that the Prime Minister (the Rt.. Hon. M. J. Savage) has left Panama on his return and 'that the party is all well. On ; arrival at Wellington on July 28 tl), Mi.’ Savage will be received by a Ministerial par that will go [out' in the Janie Seddon to meet him on the Rangitata. On landing he will be tendered a reception by. the chairman and members of the Wellington Harbour Board. In the : evening a civic reception to him will be held in the Town Hall. -
