“THE WHITE ANGEL” AND - . “RAMONA.” The above two. pictures provide the week-end entertainment at the Town Hall. To-night will witness tffe screening of the immortal story of Florence Nightingale, under the title of “The White Angel,” featuring Kay Francis and lan Hunter. One of the outstanding women in the history of/the world, Floi’ence Nightingale relinquished her social position, and dedicated her life to the service of mankind. This is a picture that should be seen by everyone. In addition to a strong supporting programme the next issue of -the “March of Time” will be, shown. The remarkable progress in colour photography is clearly shown in “Ramona,” the technicolour classic which is being shown to-morrow night. This features Loretta Young Don Amerche and Pauline Frederick in what is usually accepted as the world’s greatest love story. It’s haunting melodies, its tuneful background, its glorious settings, and its vivid and entrancing story will long be remembei’ed. Ti’ulv a great picture. In addition a tworeel comedy, Australian News, Cartoon and another episode of the new serial “The Vanishing Shadow,” will be shown as supports.
