TREASURER’S REPORT. The treasurer (Mr F. J. Ramsay) reported as follows: “The following is a statement of revenue earned for the period ended 30th November, 1936, the figures for November, 1935, being given in parenthesis: — “Domestic supply: 1379533 units £14699 (1114410 units, £14214) an increase of 265123 units and £485. “Domestic waterheating: £2303 (£2051), an increase of £252. “Commercial lighting and heating: 317196 units, £4928 (266951 units, £4691) and increase of 50245 units or £243.

“Commerical waterheating: £1664 (£161.3), an increase of £sl. Power: 1108393 units, £8630 (962439 units, £7631), an increase of 145954 units or £999.

Less discounts £3189 (£2927); leaving £29,669 (£27,914). “It will be seen that the gross revenue earned was £32,858, less discounts allowed £3,189, making the net earnings £29,669. This is an increase of £1,755 over '’last year, and a further advance of nearly £IOO on last period. An examination of the detailed statement of sales will, I think, shSw the general position to be very satisfactory. “Sundry Debtors. —The outstandings at last balance were: — Current Accounts, £3047; Hire Purchase, £3755; total, £6802.

“The current accounts have remained fairly constant at aproximately the above figure, over the last four months. The Hire Purchase accounts are, however’, mounting up until there is, at date, some £3,700 outstanding. I anticipate that early in the New Year, when further supplies of ranges are available, there'will be a very substantial increase in the sale of ranges under the hire purchase system.

“During the month 24 “cut off” notices were issued, but oniy four consumers were actually disconnected.” ,

The report was adopted and accounts amounting to £2,109 18/4 were passed for payment. ENGINEER’S REPORT.

Some minor adjustments will -require to be made, but the supply is very satisfactory.
