OBITUARY.
NORMAN KERR BREDIN. Foxton friends of Mrs Bredin, widow of the late Rev. J. H. Bredin, one time Presbyterian minister at Foxton, will regret to learn of the death of her only son, Norman, which occurred at the Palmerston North Hospital on Monday morning at the age of 24 years. Deceased contracted blood poisoning and was admitted to the hospital on Saturday for treatment and, despite all that medical skill could devise, passed away as stated. The sympathy of a large circle of local friends will be extended to the mother.
MR. H. H. C. SIMMONS. The death occurred on Sunday of a well-known Rangiotu settler in the person of Mr H. H. C. Simmons. Deceased was 55 years of age and had resided at Mangawhata since 1900. A short time ago be was involved in an accident and suffered injuries which ultimately led to his death. Deceased took a keen interest in sport and was a member of the Foxton Racing Club. He was also an active member of the Church of England. Besides his wife he leaves a family of one son and three daughters: Mr Harold Simmons (Mangawhata), Mrs E. Stanbra (Tauranga) and Misses Myra and Elza Simmons (Mangawhata). The funeral took place yesterday.
