The Government Meteorologist wired at noon to-day as folloAvs:— The indications are for Avesterly Avinds, moderate to strong, soon backing by Avest to south. Weather cloudy to overcast Avith scattered rain probable but shortly there are indications for a temporary improvement. The barometer has a rising tendency. Seas moderate.
