MANAWATU HEADS PING PONG CLUB.

WIND-UP DANCE

There was an excellent attendance at the wind-up dance of the Manawatu Heads Ping Pong Club, w hich was held in the Beach Hall last evening. Music for the dancing was supplied by Messrs 0. Coles, H. Hartley and W. Neville (drums). Saxophone solos by Mr S. Sinclair were greatly appreciated by those present. Several novelty dances were held and these were won as follows: Gay Gordons: Mrs S. Sinclair and Mr M. Crawford; Monte Carlo; Miss J. Macpherson and Mr R. Gay. Paper hats, squeakers and confetti were distributed during the evening and added to the amusement of the dancers.

The catering arrangements were in the hands of Mesdames N. Alsop C. Hodge, S. Sinclair and Garuham and left nothing to be desired. Mr N. Alsop capably officiated as M.C. Dancing was continued until a late hour, _
