ANOTHER DETONATOR ACCIDENT.

While playing in a shed at his home at Maungatapere, near Whangarei, on Tuesday, a nine-year-old child named Raymond Given obtained possession of a detonator. Not being aware of the danger, he struck it Avith a pair of pliers. The detonator exploded and parts of the casing entered both legs above the knee. The child was taken to the Whangarei Hospital for attention.
