JOCKEY SERIOUSLY INJURED.
Christchurch, November 7. Arthur EastAvood, rider of Manetho in the Jockey Club Handicap at Riccarton to-day, received a fractured skull and a broken collarbone when the horse fell. Eastwood Avas taiken to St. George’s Hospital at once, and this evening his condition is reported to be very serious.
