FATAL ACCIDENT IN WAIHI MINE.
Waihi, October 30. William Moir, aged 23, single, was killed at the Waihi Mine to-dav. Moir and his mate, T. Bright, had been trudldng from the shrinkage block below No. 11 level, when a fall of rock occurred, striking Motion the head and body, killing him instantly. This is the first fatal accident in the mine for seven years.
