“REST OF LUCK” ART UNION.
The “Best of Luck” Art Union was drawn in Wellington on Tuesday when it was announced that the first, prize of £2,000 had been drawn by Mr D. G. Lumb, a single man. aged 30, of Dunedin. This was the second tidkct Mr Lumb had nurchased in an art union although he had contributed regularly to overseas sweeps. The second prize of £SOO went to Mr S, Goldfinch, aged 18, of Palmerston N. Mr Goldfinch is also a single man. The other main prizes were allocated as follows: £100: “Another Mug,” Petone; £SO: “Wellington”; £25: “Retmia,” Wellington and “The New Deal,” Wellington. ' None of the prizes came to Foxton or immediate district.
