STONE PIERCES CAR WINDSCREEN.
FRAGMENT OF GLASS PENETRATES MAN’S EYE. Masterton, Last Night. A stone, piercing the windscreen of a car near Masterton this evening, completely showered the inside of the car with tiny fragments of glass, one of which lodged in the eye of Allan Walter Scott, an official of the Lands Department. The victim was admitted to' the Masterton Hospital with the possibility of serious injury to the eye.
