THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: The indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale in places, backing by west to south after about twenty-four hours. Weather will be overcast with rain probable. Weather will become colder tomorrow. Barometer unsteady, later rising. Seas rough, tides moderate.
