FOXTON FIRE BRIGADE.
SUCCESSFUL DANCE
A very successful dance, organised by the Foxton Volunteer Fire Brigade, was held in the Masonic Hall last evenng. The hall was crowded to capacity, there being a large attendance of visitors from the surrounding districts as well as a good number of local residents. During the evening modern and old time dancing was indulged in, excellent mjusjc being supplied bv Larkin’s orchestra and Messrs R. Nicholson and J. Newton played exti’as. Confetti dances created a great deal of amusement and a bounteous supper dispensed by the ladies and members of the Fire-Brigade, was thoroughly enjoyed. Dancing was continued until a late. hour, when the playing of the National Anthem concluded a very pleasant evening.
