THEN COMMITS SUICIDE. ■ Tracked down to a farm near Morrinsville on Sunday, Henare Hona, a young Maori who was wanted for .tiie murder of the Davenport family of four, shot an interviewing constable named Thomas Heaps and escaped. An armed posse later surrounded him and on seeing escape cut off, Hona shot himself with a revolver. Both Heaps and Hona died in the Waikato Hospital later.
