FOXTON BEACH IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY.
EUCHRE AND DANCE. The usual fortnightly social under Ihe auspices of the Foxton Beach Improvement Committee was held in the Beach Hall last evening and proved to lie most successful. Cards and dancing were indulged in during the evening, the results being as follows: Lady’s Euchre: —-Mrs Fuller, 1, Miss I*. Me IJo well 2; lady’s Alystery: Mrs Smith. Cent’s Euchre: — Mr F. Short! 1, Mr A. Nelson 2; gent’s .Mystery: Mr O. Coles.
'flic Cay Cordons was won by Mr Campbell and Mrs Sinclair, and the Monte Carlo hv Master McPherson and Miss McDowell.
