FOXTON TENNIS CLUB
SUCCESSFUL DANCE. Despite the inclement weather there was a good attendance at a dance organised by the members of the Foxton Tennis Club and held in the Town Hall supper-room on Tuesday evening. Although the success of the dance was, to a certain extent, marred by the boisterous weather all present spent a very enjoyable time. Excellent music was supplied by Mr L. Mattar, extras being played by Mr S. Spring and Miss M. Moore. A delicious supper was dispensed by the committee members and was thoroughly enjoyed. Dancing was continued to a late hour when the playing of the National Anthem concluded a very pleasant function. The members of the tennis club intend holding another dance at an early date.
