GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS.
A. J. Shaw, the unattached Wellington professional, won the open golf championship of the Dominion at Wanganui yesterday for the sixth time within the past- nine years, heading the field by five strokes. N. Bell, Auckland, was runner-up until an aggregate of 293, and Bryan Silk, of Wanganui, with an aggregate of 296 was the leading amateur, thus becoming the first hloder of the Bledisloe Cup.
