“It is 'a deliberate fraud/’ de(‘hired Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Palmertson North Magistrate’s Court on Monday, when a relief worker was charged with signing paysheets for work which he had not done. It appeared that defendant’s son had taken his father’s place on a certain .job and a second son had undertaken the brother’s work. The father meanwhile had been engaged by a builder. A tine of £2 with costs was imposed.
