THE WEATHER
The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: — The indications are for northerly winds, moderate to strong to strong to gale. After 24 hours backing by west to south. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable with rain probable to-morrow. Barometer unsteady but rising after about 24 hours. Seas rough, tides good.
