SUICIDE PACT.
LETTER FOUND. Christchurch, March 16. The inquest on the bodies of Claude Hargood Bouiulv, aged 23, and Muriel McDonald, aged 16, Avhicli Avere found in the sea at Scarborough, Avas resumed by the coroner, Mr E. D. Mosley, to-day. A letter found in Boundy’s Avallet was handed in. It gave an indication that the pair intended to commit suicide, and asked his mother’s forgiveness. The coroner said: “1 cannot come to any other conclusion from the evidence and the letter but that the two entered into a suicide pact, and in furtherance of that agreement jumped over the cliffs.”
A verdict Avas returned accordingly..
