A BESIEGED CITY.
Teheran, April 20. Thousands of women and children in the besieged city of Tabriz, Persia, are clamouring for bread. The British residents have cabled to Sir Edward Gray that they are in imminent danger of attack. Owing to the desperate situation it is impossible to leave the city and the Consular guard is inadequate to protect them.
