Earthquakes.
The heaviest earthquake ever experienoed at Port Darwin was felt on Wednesday. The shock lasted three minutes.
The earthquake was the worst ever experienced in Saoramento Valley, and hundreds of houses were burned owing to the capsizing of the stoves. The loss is estimated at a million dollars.
