In the annual report of the Shaw-' Savill and Albion Co., it is stated that owing to competition in the colonial trade it has found necessary to make a reduction in the rate of freights. The amount available for the annual dividend was £35,000 and of this amount the sum of £6000 is carried forward to next year's account. I,t ia expected that Mrs Osborne will be released a fortnight before her accouchement, In the House of Commons the Post-master-General, in reply to Mr Henniker Heaton, stated that the
