INDIAN FRONTIER.
EXODUS OF EMIGRANTS
[Press Association.] Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association
DELHI, Aug. 9. Persistent reports are current of the exodus of emigrants from the frontier provinces to Afghanistan, causing. the latter much worry. Certain villages in the vicinity of Peshawar ha.ye emigrated en bloc, and Afghan reports state that- tho Afghans, are feeding large numbers of 'travellers, which is proving a. serious matter.
There, is good reason to believe that the authorities at Kabul are growing anxious and are attempting to stop the movement, which is largely due to the preaching of the priests in India.
